Rail anchors securely anchor rails, counter-rails, side rails and third rails in concrete — under heavy, dynamic loads and often within limited maintenance windows. At B+BTec, you will find the anchoring components that form the basis of reliable rail anchor systems: from customised stud bolts and anchor rods to chemical anchors suitable for rail applications.

Also for the renovation of existing, outdated rail anchoring systems you’ve come to the right place. Using the right anchors, injection mortars and drilling systems, worn anchors are removed and the rails are re-anchored securely — without having to replace the entire anchoring system.

Important to know: We do not supply complete rail anchoring systems. Our strength lies in anchoring technology. Drawing on this expertise, we supply the individual components — such as stud bolts, anchor rods, glass capsules, diamond drill bits and core drilling systems — that enable you to anchor the rails professionally.

Engineering & automation

As well as the components themselves, our engineering department can also advise you on the automating the installation and ensuring correct anchoring.

A good example is our core drilling trolley: a mobile drilling trolley with a single or double spindle that drills core holes to specification and at the correct angle in the track — complete with water and dust management and a mechanical brake system. The result is higher and more consistent drilling quality, a higher working pace and significantly less hands-on work. This approach has already proven its worth in major projects, from the Riyadh metro to light rail installations in the Netherlands.
